Jennifer Silver is a producer and director for both the stage and screen. With an MFA in film production from FSU’s College of Motion Picture Arts and a BA in Media Communication and Theatre from Asbury University, her approach to creative work is truly from the ground up. There’s not a single job on set or behind the curtain that she hasn't done.
Jennifer’s work has taken her around the world, creating narrative, commercial, and documentary work. In 2017, she helped to launch the Atlanta Theatre Club which was named the Best Emerging Theater Company in 2019 by Atlanta Magazine. Her short films have screened at many film festivals, including Le Spark, which won a Student Emmy Award, and Rehearsal, which won 2nd Place in the Student Showcase of the Key West Film Festival.
“[Jennifer] caught a little lightning in a bottle and showed off some impressive instincts along the way. If Rehearsal is any indicator, this is going to be a filmmaker to keep your eye on in the future.” — Los Angeles Film Review
Lately, Jennifer has been mostly focused on commercial work, producing over 100 commercials in 2023 alone. She also recently directed the pilot for MEL ADRIENNE CHARLIE, a show about three elder millennial roommates who have lived with each other for over a decade and just can’t seem to get their shit together.
In her spare time, you may find Jennifer playing the ukulele, hiking with her dog Phoenix, or sharing travel stories around a campfire. Ask her about the time she filmed the birth of a baby during a power outage in the middle of the night in Mozambique.
